The Low Pass

The Low Pass was a project aptly named for the time it occupied creatively. This project was made during the bulk of COVID-19 from 2021-2022. The “Low Pass” marked a low period in many people’s lives, and shares a name with the filter used to remove high-frequencies in audio, the cornerstone of the modern “lofi” aesthetic.

This project explored lofi, layered guitar loops and hollow drums. An ominous, dark, and sometimes moving project, it kicks off with Hiatus, a high-energy statement on returning to the craft, and ends with Reality a sobering reflection back on the COVID era.
